Happy 10th Birthday Diego!

As you can tell the theme this year was, "Percy Jackson, the lighting thief." Diego became a huge fan this past year of Rick Riordan's, Percy Jackson's junior novels. Thanks to Uncle Pancho we were able to get these special shirts made at no extra cost other than the shirts. Chris and I really enjoyed this group of boys. Diego has been friends with some of these boys for years and they are just great kids! One of Diego's favorite desserts is Paula Dean's monkey bread. So he decided that he wanted that for his birthday cake. He even made most of it too. We added blue cream cheese icing and chocolate.

We had a guitar hero war between two groups. Max rocked the song, "Eye of the Tiger."

At the Garcia household we just don't celebrate one day for birthdays. On Diego's actual birthday I got him his favorite cinnabons and we sang happy birthday to him.

I love it when the boys genuinely love on each other. It makes my heart so happy!
