First day of School

School finally started! woo-hoo!
oh darn did I say that out loud? Gosh what a horrible mother am I. Diego is in 4th grade and Max is in 2nd. Max was lucky since his 1st grade teacher moved up a grade and landed in her class again.


Max was so excited for his first day of school. My buddy Wade gave him the cool do to sport for his awesome first day at school. Max wanted it to be a Mohawk originally but I did put my foot down on that. I'm all for being different but he is still a little boy.. He was in a good mood all day which equals Max bouncing off the walls...
So Max tried to get me to agree on red hair.. Yea right! maybe when he is in high school or that goowie imitation stuff that they use for kids in the salon.

Auntie Sherri is excited too. She gets to teach 34 yes I said 34 kids math this year. Yea they are short one more child for another teacher. Sad but true. Funny how the most important jobs in the world like teaching the future, are the jobs most ignored and under payed...

Why do I want to be a teacher? Hmmmm....

Makes you think? No worries though I will accomplish my temporary goal of an art teacher...

Diego was excited yet nervous. He is a lot like his mother. He even let me style his hair too! But don't get too excited since this was the last time we styled his hair and we are coming up on our third week of school.
