Making Salmon
So I'm (Toni) on this healthy kick. Again? yes I know. When I get into things I've become obsessed with them. Well I decided to blog my Salmon that I made. I think I was inspired by the pioneer woman. which by the way you can find on thepioneerwoman.com. Well anyway this is my 4th wk and coming up on my 5th this Wed. So I lost about 5lbs and feel really good. my clothes actually feel nice and not tight.
Up above you will see my onions that I sated for my salmon and to your left you will see the herbs I collected from my garden. Rosemary and some mint. The lemon was from the store, so no credit there. I sliced some lemons and placed them on top of my salmon. On top you will see the sauteed onions and herbs. Oh, before that though its a good idea to place your salmon on a piece of aluminum foil. Then you can add the rest. of the ingredients on top.
With these ingredients I cracked pepper and some sherry wine. The one thing I would change though would be to put less rosemary on it. I think I added a whole branch. You don't even want to know what my poor plant looks like after Max was in charge of collecting the herbs.

I'm glad that I set aside some sauteed onions that didn't go on the salmon because the onions that were cooked with the fish absorbed most of the rosemary flavor. The onions were very bitter and scary. I was some what afraid to taste the Salmon after that.

No worries though the Salmon turned out great. Max was my Guinea pig. I made some pasta with with fresh Parmesan cheese and butter to go with his fish and of course broccoli.
He really enjoyed every bite.. Not bad for kids who hardly eat anything.
